Two people have been arrested on suspicion of assault after a man was 'found lying in the street' with serious head injuries.
Emergency services, including forensic officers, were called to the scene on Chelsea Avenue in Radcliffe just before 3am yesterday (Sunday).
Police said they found a man, aged in his 50s, with serious but non-life threatening head injuries. He was taken to hospital from the scene, where he remains in a stable condition.
