Anthony Martial’s loan spell with Sevilla has been labelled a 'fiasco' by Spanish media as speculation over his Manchester United future continues to mount.
The striker will return to United this summer after spending the second half of the 2021/22 season in Spain. Martial was eventually granted a move away in January after making it clear he wanted to leave Old Trafford.
But his time with Sevilla didn’t quite go to plan. Martial failed to register a single goal in La Liga as his side’s title challenge faded away. Martial also rarely featured during the final weeks of the season, having not been included in Sevilla’s squad for five of their final six league games.
