Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is relishing the challenge of competing with new Manchester City star Erling Haaland in pursuit of the Premier League Golden Boot next season.

City, who will discover their fixture list for the 2022/23 campaign on Thursday, officially announced the arrival of Haaland from Borussia Dortmund on Monday, more than a month after they had reached an agreement with the German heavyweights to secure his signature.

He has joined the club on a five-year deal for an initial fee of £51million. He has brought City's pursuit for a replacement for Sergio Aguero to an end, meaning he will now be under pressure to deliver the goods and replicate the form he produced so often in Germany here in England.

He netted 86 goals in just 89 appearances for Dortmund, meaning he is one of the red-hot favourites to win the Golden Boot next season.
