Amazon launches its two-day sales bonanza and personal finance specialists at money.co.uk have produced a handy Christmas Best Savings guide to show bargain hunters how to lighten the financial load this Christmas.

As the UK looks set for a record-breaking seasonal spending spree, shoppers have revealed they intend to splash out on presents to help get over the continued restrictions in place as a result of Covid-19.

Research by money.co.uk found that families plan to spend around 25 per cent more than usual on Christmas gifts in 2020. Last year Brits said they intended to spend an average of £780 on Christmas presents for family, loved ones, friends and work colleagues.
