Alejandro Garnacho has described making his debut for Manchester United as an 'incredible moment.' United managed to end their run of successive hammerings at the hands of great rivals — following a 4-0 defeat to Liverpool and a 3-1 loss at Arsenal — on Thursday as they held Chelsea to a 1-1 draw in their penultimate game at Old Trafford this season.
Fans were also offered a brief glimpse into the future as Garnacho was handed his first appearance in the senior team by Ralf Rangnick.
The Spanish-born Argentine forward has been in scintillating form in the academy sides this season and has particularly impressed in United's march to their first FA Youth Cup final since 2011, scoring five goals and claiming three assists in just five matches.
His performances haven't gone unnoticed and he has been promoted to the first team in recent weeks, being named on the bench on four occasions.
