A full inquest into the death of Yousef Makki is to go ahead next year

hereThe court heard that due to the coronavirus pandemic, there is a 'backlog' of cases, and as such, the full inquest will be heard early next year.The hearing has been listed to last for two weeks and will be heard by Coroner Alison Mutch alone, without a jury.It was agreed that it will start on March 15 2021, in line with the wishes of Yousef's family, who preferred for it not to coincide with the anniversary of his death, on March 2.There will also be a further pre inquest review hearing held in October.
