2022 Tony Awards presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing were announced by the award-winning actress Adrienne Warren and three-time Tony nominee Joshua Henry.This year marks the American Theatre Wing’s 75th annual Tony Awards, and with 11, the autobiographical Strange Loop leads all nominations, Paradise Square and the Michael Jackson musical MJ received 10, and for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf grabbed seven.Throughout the YouTube telecast, there were many inspiring moments on display from people of color during past Tony Awards.
