A secondary school in East Didsbury is soon to have access to new facilities as a significant development programme commences.

Funded by Manchester City Council and the Salford Diocese, a £1 million building programme will begin at The Barlow in April 2022 to further enhance facilities.

The project will include the creation of a new Resourced Provision - a specialist base for pupils aged 12-15 diagnosed with autism.

The pupils accessing the Resourced Provision require specialist support from staff with managing the challenges around their social communication, as well as access to a mainstream curriculum and subject-specialist teaching.
