Zendaya Isn't Halfway To EGOT Status Because Of This Grammy Rule

Over the weekend, Zendaya became the youngest winner ever to win the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series at the 2020 Emmy Awards.

After winning, many fans were sure that the 24-year-old actress was already halfway into achieving EGOT status, which is an elite league of entertainers who have all been awarded an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award.

However, Zendaya isn’t a Grammy winner, even though she is featured on The Greatest Showman soundtrack that won the award for best compilation soundtrack for visual media in 2018.
