Woman rushed to hospital after two-car smash in Tameside

A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash between two cars in Tameside. Emergency services rushed to the junction of Armadale Road and Boyds Walk, in Dukinfield, at 6.40am this morning (Tuesday April 12).

Photographs from the scene show damage to a Mercedes and a Vauxhall Insignia, with car debris on a grassed area. The road has also been taped off by police, according to witnesses.

North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) took a woman in her 30s to hospital for 'further assessment'. The nature of her injuries are currently unknown. NWAS also attended and a woman has been taken to hospital where her injuries are unknown." A spokesman for NWAS added: "A woman in her 30s was taken to the hospital for further assessment.
