Woman falls at Scots beauty spot as emergency services race to ongoing incident

Police, fire and ambulance crews have been scrambled to John Knox Pulpit in Lomond Hills, Fife, after the alarm was raised shortly after 5pm on Friday, July 23.

Emergency crews were called to assist the incident after the woman fell.The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service currently have a water rescue team in attendance.Locals reporting seeing "multiple fire engines, a rescue boat, unmarked cars and rescue police" racing to the scene.The nature of the woman's injuries are not yet known.A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We received a call from the ambulance service to assist with an incident after a female had fallen at John Knox Pulpit in Lomand Hills."We have our water rescue and line rescue teams in.
