Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lynn Lopez (born July 24, 1969), also known by her nickname J.Lo, is an American actress, singer, dancer, fashion designer, producer and businesswoman. In 1991, Lopez began appearing as a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color, where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993. For her first leading role in the 1997 Selena biopic of the same name, Lopez received a Golden Globe nomination and became the first Latin actress to earn over US$1 million for a film. She went on to star in Anaconda (1997) and Out of Sight (1998), later establishing herself as the highest-paid Latin actress in Hollywood.

A Wishaw pub that took home the most recent Pub of The Year crown has reflected on its big win three years ago. However, the competition is back this year and this year it is Lanarkshire-wide. A brother and sister duo, Derek and Tracey have run Corrigan’s Bar and Grill for the last nine years, building a strong reputation for serving excellent pints, food and patter in equal measure.

Derek told Lanarkshire Live : “It’s been a hard few years, that's for sure. “I don’t think we could have imagined what was in store for all of us.“We still have the Pub of The Year plaque up and it’s a great source of pride for us.“We have a lot of loyal customers who voted for us and I’m sure it will be the same again.“Hopefully all restrictions will be lifted soon and we will back to some kind of normality.“During the lockdown a lot of our regulars really missed being out and seeing their friends, so we are glad to have them
