Republican Sen. David Perdue, a former Fortune 500 CEO, will face off against challenger Jon Ossoff, a 33-year-old media executive again in a runoff election Jan.
5. Perdue led Ossoff in the November general election by around 88,00 votes, with 49.73 percent of the vote to Ossoff's 47.95.
Since no candidate received a plurality of the votes, the challengers will face off in a contentious election that could determine the fate of the Senate's control.
