Eoin Doyle's first half magnificent volley from Nathan Delfouneso's sublime cross proved to be the difference at the New Lawn.
It sealed Bolton's 11th win in that sequence of results and saw the Trotters temporarily move into the automatic promotion places, for a time, after beating the Green Devils in the day's early kick-off.
Ian Evatt's side currently sit fourth in the table, having been 19th in the standings at the end of January before embarking on this remarkable unbeaten run, which is currently the longest in English football.
