All thanks to COP26, the Glasgow subway Sunday services were finally pushed back. However, the extra hours will only last for two Sundays.The subway will open at 8am and close at 10pm on October 31 and November 7.
The last trains will leave the city centre from 9:50pm.The usual end time was 6pm on Sundays - the earliest closing time during the regular schedule.SPT said the extended hours were "to assist those travelling in the city during COP26" meaning they will only run on the two Sundays during the UN conference.COP26 will run from October 31 to November 12.The extended hours are so popular that there are 2,603 signatures in a Change.org petition to make them permanent.
