Last year the illumations were switched off in November after the UK went into a four-week lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However with restrictions now easing the lights are returning - and people will have longer to go and see them this year. The illuminations were founded in 1879 and each and every year since the lights have lit up Blackpool for 66 days in the second half of the year - apart from last year.
