Gwrych Castle in Conwy, just an hour from Manchester, is set to temporarily close from 5pm on Sunday, August 23 until New Year.The closure is another sign that the Grade I listed 19th-century country house could be the venue for the hit reality show.Bosses at ITV have already confirmed the 20th series would no longer take place in Australia due to coronavirus, and instead at a castle in the UK.A far cry from the tropical jungle, the derelict castle overlooking the coastal town of Abergele would provide a completely different experience for the celebs - with this year's winner being crowned King or Queen of the Castle.Kevin Lygo, ITV’s.
