Vegan shopper claims she was 'tricked' into buying chicken product at supermarket

vegan claims that she was ‘tricked’ into buying chicken due to their placement on the supermarket freezer shelves. The customer, who made the discovery in an Australian supermarket, was astounded when she noticed a string of chicken products in the same section as plant-based food items.

She shared a picture of the freezer, which shows plant-based burgers and plant-based meatballs alongside chicken nuggets and chicken tenders with a label that reads “I’m Free From”.

But the vegan shopper couldn’t believe it when she had a closer look at the box, which said that they are free from gluten rather than being meat-free, reports the Mirror.
