Carmondean Community Centre in Livingston.Anyone whose test comes back positive should follow the instructions provided and take immediate action to stop the spread of the virus to others by self-isolating.The Community Testing Programme (CTP) was created in December 2020 to enable local authorities with high prevalence of Covid-19 to work in partnership with the UK government, and identify asymptomatic cases through local testing and support them to isolate.Areas with high rates of infection of Covid-19 are targeted to stop the virus spreading onto other neighbourhoods.Launching the scheme, the UK Government said “community testing is an important addition to our armoury in the fight against Covid-19 over the coming months.”For more.
