UEFA make decision on venue for Man City vs Real Madrid Champions League second leg

straight to your inboxManchester City will play the second leg of their last-16 Champions League tie with Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium, UEFA have confirmed.The Blues won 2-1 at the Bernabeu in March before the competition was halted as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak across Europe.

Plans have since been unveiled to finish the Champions League in a final eight tournament in Portugal in August, with quarter-finals, semi-final and final all played over one leg.

But City were determined not to lose home advantage for the second leg of their tie with the La Liga leaders and UEFA have confirmed the remaining ties will be played at home venues, as long as that league is back up and running and there are no travel restrictions in place.
