U.K. TV giant ITV late in the week unveiled two investments worth $14.075 million, one in the joint venture behind the upcoming BritBox Australia streaming service and one in a provider of a data collaboration platform.

ITV has promoted its director of creative diversity Ade Rawcliffe to group director of diversity and inclusion, making the U.K. broadcasting giant the first FTSE 100 company with a dedicated diversity director on its executive board.

43% drop in second-quarter advertising revenues.

U.K. TV giant ITV, led by CEO Carolyn McCall, on Thursday reported a 17 percent revenue drop for the first half of 2020, including a drop at its production unit and "the most severe decline in the history of ITV" in advertising, due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
