Tyson Fury has been told why his undefeated streak will end when he faces Dillian Whyte on April 23. The two are finally set to meet in the ring at Wembley Stadium, with Fury defending his WBC championship.
The fight had been hanging in the balance in the last 24 hours with Whyte leaving it late to sign his contract. But in the early hours of Tuesday morning it was confirmed the documents were signed and sent to the WBC ahead of the deadline.
Whyte secured his WBC mandatory title shot after knocking out Alexander Povetkin last March, while Fury retained the belt with an 11th-round knockout of Deontay Wilder in their trilogy fight in October.
Since his last fight in the USA over three years ago, Fury's stature has grown exponentially. Having defeated Wilder twice, many have put him in the conversation of being the greatest heavyweight of all-time.
