Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Bolton. A car overturned and landed on its side following the collision on Darwen Road, Bromley Cross.

Photographs taken from the scene also show damage to the front of a van. READ MORE: Human remains found in woodland identified as man, 34, last seen over five years ago Emergency services were called to the incident at around 8am, with Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) both in attendance.

A NWAS spokesman said: "Two patients have been taken to hospital, no major injuries." Manchester Evening News has contacted GMP for comment.
