Twisted vandals target fairy trail created to entertain Scots kids during lockdown

lockdown. Furious families were horrified to discover the community project in Salsburgh, North Lanarkshire, had been sprayed with grey paint at the weekend - just days after it was created.

Signs were defaced and stuffed toys had their faces blanked out, while ‘FTP’ was daubed over a wishing well.It appears an attempt had also been made to set fire to a teepee at the spot - which has become a huge hit with parents and children in the area.

Hundreds of angry locals took to social media to vent their fury over the "vile" incident, with one local mum who shared pictures of the damage on Facebook said it was “shocking and heartbreaking” to see.
