Gas and electricity prices have spiked amid the UK energy crisis - with warning costs may continue to rise even further in April.
Bills have increased for around 15 million households around the country as the energy price cap - which limits the rates paid for electricity and gas -has shot up.
The UK's energy regular Ofgem has raised the price cap for standard and default tariffs by £139 - from £1,138 to £1,277. Meanwhile, the price cap for prepayment customers rose by £153 from £1,156 to £1309, reports the Mirror.
