Helen Williams is following in the footsteps of Captain Tom Moore. The 41-year-old who has Down's Syndrome and autism is walking 21,000 steps a day for 21 days of lockdown to raise money for the same cause - NHS charities.

She is walking around the garden of her home in Bowdon. The RAF veteran raised £30 million by walking a hundred laps of his garden.

Helen had set a target of £300 but has already reached more than £4,500. It earned her a personal message from Manchester United star, Scott McTominay.

Helen lives with her younger sister, local GP, Felicity Blain, her brother-in-law, headteacher, Simon, and their four daughters.
