THE VAMPS guitarist and singer James McVey wants to follow in the footsteps of cricketer Freddie Flintoff by making a documentary about his body dysmorphia.
Freddie’s moving documentary Living With Bulimia struck a chord with I’m A Celebrity star James, who this week bravely revealed he had liposuction at the age of 20 to remove chest tissue.
In an exclusive chat with Biz On Sunday, James told us: “I’m so inspired by Freddie. “It’s absolutely incredible to see someone like that, with that sphere of influence, talking about mental health. “On the face of it you think he’s on top of the world — an athlete and a successful presenter. “I’m so happy to speak about this now but if you’d asked me three years ago I would have said no.
