This is the moment paramedics and neighbours surprised NHS fundraiser Win Page as she celebrated her 100th birthday in isolation.

Socially distanced well-wishers lined the streets outside Mrs Page's Middleton home on Tuesday afternoon to sing Happy Birthday to her.

On Monday the great-grandmother had completed a Captain Tom Moore-inspired charity challenge to walk 100 lengths of the driveway at her Middleton home before her 100th birthday.

Her remarkable effort has raised almost £16,000 for the North West Ambulance Service charity. Mrs Page, who ran a bakery alongside her late husband in Middleton all her working life, had planned a big birthday party with family and friends before the coronavirus lockdown scuppered her plans.
