Teachers at a Salford high school are taking further strike action as the dispute continues. We reported last month how members of teachers' union NASUWT at Co-op Academy Swinton went on strike for five days over the way the school is being run.

It came after more than 200 parents signed a petition over 'pedantic' school rules, saying they were making children's lives a misery.

During the first day of action pupils reportedly climbed onto the roof of the school and a child's finger was injured.
