Convict-turned-influencer Gypsy Rose Blanchard reveals her abusive past and time in prison via letters, phone transcripts and photos in her new e-book, “Released: Conversations on the Eve of Freedom,” out Tuesday.The 32-year-old — who was released from a Missouri prison on Dec. 28 after serving seven years of a 10-year sentence for her role in the murder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, in 2015 — details alleged abuse by her mother and grandfather but says she is remorseful for her crime.Blanchard also reveals a battle with opioid addiction while in prison — and claims she served a stint in solitary confinement after a super fan wanted to break her out.“I want you to know that I know now you were mentally and emotionally unstable when raising me,” Blanchard says in an open letter to her mother, written from Chillicothe Correctional Facility in Missouri.

Lindsay Lohan, Jake Paul and several other celebs are in hot water after allegedly promoting cryptocurrency endeavors without revealing they'd been paid to do so.The Securities and Exchange Commission announced on Wednesday that they have filed fraud charges, as well as unregistered securities charges, against crypto founder Justin Sun — who is also a Grenadian diplomat.The SEC also announced charges related to various violations against eight celebrity influencers, who are accused of collaborating with Sun by promoting his Tronix and BitTorrent crypto assets -- specifically the TRX and BTT crypto coins — in a way that led investors to believe they were being actively traded and had the potential for financial success.The SEC alleges that Sun was «orchestrating a promotional campaign in which he and his celebrity promoters hid the fact that the celebrities were paid for their tweet.»Lohan and Paul were among those accused of being a part of the fraudulent efforts, as well as music artists Austin Mahone, Soulja Boy, Lil Yachty, Ne-Yo and Akon, and adult film actress Kendra Lust.Six of the eight artists accused of the violations have subsequently agreed to pay a collective total of $400,000 in disgorgement and penalties. However, the settlements were not an admittance or denial of guilt, according to the SEC.

Def Leppard Drummer Rick Allen Assaulted in Florida, Suffers Head Injury
Def Leppard, suffered a head injury on Monday when he was attacked outside his hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.According to a police report released by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department on Thursday, Allen was outside the Four Seasons Hotel smoking a cigarette in the valet section when the assailant then struck Allen «at a full run,» knocking Allen backward.Allen — who lost his left arm in a car accident in 1984 — subsequently suffered an injury when he struck his head on the ground after being hit.Max Edward Hartley, a 19-year-old Ohio resident visiting Florida, was arrested and charged with two counts of battery, four counts of criminal mischief, and a count of abusing an elderly or disabled adult.Hartley allegedly also assaulted another woman who attempted to come to Allen's aid after he was struck.According to the police report, Hartley allegedly knocked the woman to the ground as well before hitting her while she was down. The woman then tried to escape by running back into the hotel, before Hartley allegedly dragged her by her hair out of the lobby and onto the sidewalk, then ran from the scene of the crime.Hartley was arrested shortly after when security at the Conrad hotel found him allegedly damaging vehicles in their parking garage.Hartley was in Florida for Spring Break, according to police.
