Stuttgart chief addresses Serhou Guirassy exit rumours amid Manchester United links

Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth has refused to rule out a January exit for star striker Serhou Guirassy amid links with Manchester United, although says his club are under no pressure to sell.

A number of European outfits are said to be interested in Guirassy, whose 17 goals in 14 Bundesliga matches have helped Stuttgart climb to third in the table.

The attacker’s overall tally across all competitions stands at 19 goals in 16 games. The 27-year-old is currently away with Guinea ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations opener against Andre Onana’s Cameroon next week, and there is the possibility that he might not be returning to Germany post-tournament. As per BW24, he added: "It's not a wish-for-you thing. We are constantly in contact, and if constellations arise that are favourable, then we will do it.
