It’s therefore no surprise to discover the current Buddies boss was over the moon to get back to contact training at Ralston this week.While an initial return to non-contact action was welcome, he’s relished getting his troops back to the rough and tumble of full-blooded football.“We are delighted to be back to contact training,” he told Express Sport.“The players have all been tested and we have all had negative returns so I am glad common sense has prevailed and we can get on with what we are used to doing.“I wasn’t telling them to calm down going into tackles, I was winding them up!“Seriously though, the boys have been great.
