Sinéad O'Connor has revealed she's been admitted to hospital just days after announcing her son Shane's tragic death.The 55 year old has been open on how she's been coping since the loss of her 17 year old son on 7 January as he "decided to end his earthly struggle".

Now, the Nothing Compares 2 U singer has taken to her Twitter feed on Thursday 13 January to explain she feels responsible for the death of her child as she wrote his "death is no ones fault but mine." Several hours later, she provided an update as she was escorted to the hospital by police. "I am with cops now on way to hospital.
