Runrig will release a documentary spanning their 40 year career in October - There Must Be A Place. And Daily Record readers will be the first people in the world to get a glimpse of the fascinating film which charts the history of the Scottish national treasures.
The Celtic rock group started as a ceilidh band on the Isle of Skye in 1973, and grew to become one of Scotland’s best-loved groups, selling out concerts across from the dance halls of the Scottish Highlands and Islands to New York’s Times Square before splitting in 2018.
Drummer Calum MacDonald, who with brother Rory founded the group, said: “This documentary has been many years in the making, and in its making, it has at times, mirrored the very narrative portrayed on film.
