A helicopter has been called in to join the search for missing Scot Shaun Banner, whose family say they are now in "stage of desperation".Police Scotland Air Unit assisted in further searches of Dingwall and Cromarty Firth today, three days after Shaun vanished.
Shaun, 34, was last seen in Invergordon in the Highlands in the early hours of Saturday morning. Family-organised searches have been taken place since Saturday but so far there has been no new leads on Shaun's whereabouts.
Police say the last known sighting of the dad was close to the Easter Ross town's railway station shortly after midnight on April 23.
In an update on social media, brother Alan Banner said the 34-year-old had "not been himself" in recent times.Alan said on Facebook: "We are at a stage of desperation in the search for Shaun."Our family is incredibly worried, Shaun has not been himself lately and we are worried about his state of mind and just want to know he is safe."Sharing Shaun’s picture is important so please continue to share far and wide.
