Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Shane Duffy has added to the speculation over his future with a cryptic image on social media. The Brighton defender is a boyhood Hoops fan, and manager Neil Lennon has confirmed initial talks.

The centre-back is also wanted by West Ham United, with Leeds also linked with a move for the Irishman. Duffy has been dropping hints over his future on his Instagram page, with seemingly no prospect of staying to fight for his place at Brighton.And on Monday he continued the tease, posting an image looking out of an aeroplane window with the caption "let's go".The 28-year-old did not make clear where he was flying to, though his future is expected to be sorted out this week.Brighton have returned to pre-season training, with Duffy expected to join.
