The CBS series Magnum P.I. has been saved! NBC has ordered two more seasons of the action series starring Jay Hernandez, according to Deadline.

The show was canceled by CBS on May 12 and Universal Television, which co-produces the series with CBS Studios, began talks with potential new homes for the network.

Deadline reports that the deal “came down to the wire,” but it’s happening! Click inside for more details that you should know… 20 episodes are being ordered, which will be split into two seasons.

There’s also an option to order more episodes. The cast is now finalizing deals to return to the show. Starring alongside Hernandez are Perdita Weeks, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang and Amy Hill.
