Scots teenager saves drowning dog from lake while on holiday in Wales

Dundee, was in the popular tourist spot Penllergare Valley Woods, in Swansea, when he spotted a dog that had waded into the lake was struggling in the water.

Charlie, the Seven-year-old Shih-Tzu, had gotten stuck in the thick reeds while chasing ducks and was being dragged under the current.

His disabled owner, Jane Warner, was helplessly panicking at the side of the river bank when the brave 17-year-old kicked off his shoes and dove in to rescue Charlie.

Jane Warner told Wales Online : "It was only the second time I'd taken Charlie to Penllergare Valley Woods, and the first time round he'd shown no interest in the ducks whatsoever.
