Scots restaurant forced to close after employee tests positive for Covid-19

coronavirus. Gelatoburger in Oban revealed that the back of house worker had become unwell after contracting Covid-19. The restaurant stressed that no customers were at risk of getting sick as the staff members did not come into contact with anyone apart from other employees.

Four workers who had been in close proximity to the infected person have now gone into self-isolation.A social media announcement from Gelatoburger said: “Earlier today, for the safety of our staff and customers, we took the decision to close the restaurant.“Unfortunately we have been informed that a member of our staff has tested positive for covid19.“The member of staff has not been in the premises since Sunday and did not have day to day contact with any customers.
