Scots motorists offered cool advice for winter driving

SCOTS motorists are being offered a flurry of driving and vehicle safety advice ahead of the harsh winter weather.The expert help comes after a survey showed millions of UK road users think they’re more likely to have an accident in the coming months because their driving gets worse in gloomy and wintry conditions.

The study by online car seller MotorConnect.co.uk found 33 per cent of drivers questioned claimed their performance noticeably worsens between November and March because the darkness, difficult weather and increased glare from headlights make them less confident.
