Police have launched a probe after a man narrowly escaped a drive-by shooting in Greenock uninjured.Emergency services were called to the scene on Brachelston Street around 6pm on Tuesday, May 12 after reports of a firearm being discharged.A 37-year-old man was walking on the road when a weapon was fired at him from a white coloured SUV.The thugs driving the vehicle then sped off towards the Orangefield area of Greenock.Their intended victim was left uninjured in what police believe was a targeted attack.Now cops are appealing to anyone who may have any information about the incident, with officers speaking to locals in the area.Detective Inspector David Wagstaff at Greenock CID said: “This was a very reckless act and thankfully no-one was
