dailyrecord.co.ukA Glasgow man has been given a proper soaking after falling into a river during a log crossing stunt.Dermot Maguire had been exploring Linn Park with his flatmate Daniel Scally on Thursday afternoon when they stumbled across the two branches hanging over the River Cart.Daniel dared Dermot to cross from branch to branch to liven up their daily lockdown walk.The 20-year-old bravely shifted his weight onto one of the branches to make the crossing before it collapsed into the water below.A Twitter video, which has since gone viral, shows a drenched Dermot scampering out of the water after his unfortunate fall.The security worker told the Daily Record : “We were just jumping about the park when we thought it was a good idea to cross between the
