A Scots council tenant with terminal cancer is awaiting compensation after a workman fell through his ceiling. William Mckay, 50, said Edinburgh City Council contractors had entered his Drylaw home to install insulation in his attic.
The workers, from Everwarm, turned up with no apparatus and one fell through the ceiling onto William's bed, Edinburgh Live reports.
The subsequent debris, insulation materials and other substances caused around £1,200-£2,000 worth of damage.William, who has lung cancer, was also forced to replace sentimental items of significant value which belonged to his mother.His GP also described the contamination from the debris on furniture and sentimental items as extremely harmful to his health.But William, who
