Scots cops save lives of two drug users on same day thanks to miracle medicine

Two people were revived this week after being given a life-saving medicine on the same day on the streets of Glasgow. The pair were saved in separate incidents after being given Naloxone, which rapidly reverses an opioid overdose.

In the first incident, a Police Scotland officer who was involved in policing duties at COP26 assisting colleagues who'd come across an unconscious person.

Other officers dealing with another unconscious person in the second incident when they were approached by a member of the public.

The Good Samaritan was carrying Naloxone, and was able to administer it to the casualty, Glasgow Live reports. Both incidents took place on Wednesday, November 10, and saw the casualties regaining consciousness before receiving
