Cops rushed down to disperse a crowd at a warehouse rave in Edinburgh to break up the party - despite later admitting that no crime had been committed.
Edinburgh Live reports that a large police presence was called to the Biscuit Factory in Leith in the early hours of Sunday January 30 as the site hosted the Central EH1 festival.
Billed as a "marathon 13 hour party" by organisers, the music event was originally due to be held near Waverley Station on the first Saturday after Covid restrictions on nightclubs were lifted.
However, last minute discussions with the British Transport Police and Edinburgh City Council saw it moved to the venue on Anderson Place.
