Scotland is racing headlong into a teen gang crisis amid a Covid-fuelled “perfect storm”, a leading community worker has warned.

Jimmy Wilson, CEO at a FARE Scotland grassroots community group, says more youngsters are arming themselves with knives and roaming the streets in packs.

He claims the problem is running out of control in the east end of Glasgow, where many community centres and youth clubs have shut down.
