Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.
Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Scientist comes closer to death than any other BGT act when trick involving flaming pendulums goes dangerously wrong

LAST week we saw David Walliams' pecker almost meet a grisly end thanks to a daredevil motorcyclist. And on tomorrow night’s Britain’s Got Talent fans are going to be treated to another death defying stunt – quite literally.

David, along with his fellow judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden, are left stunned by wacky scientist Kevin Quantum – who had stand-by doctors panicking as he walked through a giant harmonic pendulum, which he had set on fire.

The trick, which sees him blindfolded, normally goes without a hitch. But when he performed it to the show’s judges in Manchester, the heavy metal pendulum balls came out of sync increasing the likelihood of hitting him.
