dailyrecord.co.ukA Scots schoolboy has been arrested after reports of a 'male with an offensive weapon' sparked an emergency response on a Glasgow street.The incident happened at Bennan Square at around 4pm on Wednesday, January 5.
Several police vehicles were called to the scene.Police have now confirmed a 15-year-old male was arrested in connection with the matter.
The teen will be reported to youth justice authorities.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4pm on Wednesday, 5 January, 2022 , police received a report of a male in possession of an offensive weapon on Bennan Square, Glasgow.“Officers attended and a 15-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the incident.
