Duchess Sarah Ferguson is opening up about the current state of Queen Elizabeth II‘s corgis.
The 63-year-old British writer and ex-wife of Prince Andrew took to Instagram on Friday (September 8), the one-year anniversary of The Queen‘s death, to share an update on the well-being of Her Late Majesty’s furry friends. Keep reading to find out more… Upon The Queen‘s passing at the age of 96, Prince Andrew and Sarah took in the two Pembroke Welsh corgis, named Sandy and Muick.
Although the couple divorced in 1996, the Duke and Duchess of York both still reside at the Royal Lodge on the Windsor estate.
In the post honoring The Queen, Sarah included a photo of her and the two dogs sitting in the grass and noted in the caption that the pooches are “thriving” with their new caretakers.
