The duo rocked black gloves, black boots and brown Gucci clutches.As part of the act, the duo also mirrored each other when it came to their red carpet poses.This year's Met Gala accompanies the second part of the Costume Institute's exhibition, «In America: An Anthology of Fashion,» with the controversial theme «Gilded Glamour and White Tie.» The concept is a homage to the United States' Gilded Age, an era of immense economic growth and major industrialization, as well as massive income inequality, political upheaval, and post-Civil War racism.While Leto and Michele were perfect copies of each other, the Gucci director wasn't the only Leto doppelgänger!Swedish fashion star Fredrik Robertsson hit the carpet in an over-the-top silver ensemble that featured hundreds of metal rods that gave the outfit a strangely aquatic vibe, like the ensemble was inspired by and modeled after a lion fish.Somehow — likely due to Robertsson's passing resemblance to Leto — many news outlets and photographers misidentified Robertsson as Leto while reporting on the arrivals.

Deadline’s photo studio at the 2022 edition of Contenders Television kicked off its first day by hosting fest-goers such as Ben Stiller of Severance,  Amy Poehler of Russian Doll, Selena Gomez of Only Murders In The Building, Jared Leto of WeCrashed and many more.

Angelique Jackson It’s been three whole years since audiences experienced the psychedelic dramedy of “Russian Doll,” but, if the rapturous response to the Netflix show’s Season 2 trailer is any indication, fans are more than ready to jump into a new adventure with the show’s co-creator, executive producer, director, writer, showrunner and star Natasha Lyonne.“It’s scary releasing trailers and things like that, because you’re trying to figure out the right amount [to show], if you want people to be able to go in cold,” Lyonne told Variety at a rooftop celebration for the show at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel on Friday night. “And yet, there’s a thirst, a hunger that dictates that this is the way that we do things.” The clip in question reintroduces Lyonne’s onscreen alter ego Nadia Vulvokov, who’s emerged from the first season’s purgatorial storyline only to find herself transported back to 1980s New York.

Wilson Chapman editorPeacock has ordered the Amy Poehler-produced unscripted series “The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning” Variety has learned.Adapted from the 2018 nonfiction book of the same name from Swedish artist Margareta Magnusson, the show is an hourlong home-makeover show where the makeovers are based on the Swedish practice of döstädning, or death cleaning, where people declutter their homes and get rid of unnecessary belongings.Each episode will feature a different person at a crossroads in their life that will get visited by a Swedish Death Cleaner to help them organize their homes. The episodes feature interviews the the homeowner as well as their friends, neighbors and family, and will see the Death Cleaner encourage the owner to pass along mementos to their loved ones.

It’s really been a long minute since we had any “Russian Doll,” Netflix’s hit hipster series about a woman living on New York’s Lower East Side in the early aughts who gets caught in some strange time loop where she keeps on reliving the same day over and over again. Created by writer/director Leslye Headland and its star Natasha Lyonne, “Russian Doll” was quite the cultural sensation when it first arrived in 2019.
